Link Microtek’s Engineering Division designs and manufactures Defence Electronic Hardware including RF and microwave components, waveguide components, assemblies and sub-systems. We produce a wide range of double ridge and rectangular waveguide components and coaxial components for frequencies from DC to 40GHz. These include:- horn antennas, rotary joints, OMTs, attenuators, TEM cells, filters, couplers, transitions, millimetre wave components, adaptors, terminations and custom waveguide assemblies. All the waveguide and coaxial components are designed and manufactured from our base in Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK.

Link Microtek’s subsidiary Azdec specialises in the design and manufacture of infra-red digital communications systems for military and industrial applications. Azdec’s Infra-Com system provides secure and interference-free short-range mobile voice communications. Particularly suitable for use in areas of high electrical or acoustic noise, the system allows operators to speak to each other or to a central base station without using radio signals.
Link Microtek’s partner Emisens is a manufacturer of chemical and liquid discriminator / detection systems employing RF dielectric measurement technology primarily of non-conducting substances allowing for example discrimination between ‘safe’ and noxious substances. The equipment has applications in Security, Food, Industrial and Medical markets.
