Overview
RF personal monitor: 100 kHz to 60 GHz
The RadMan 2XT is used or approved for use by UK telecoms operators, broadcasters and defence organisations. Whilst providing a much greater frequency range than the Radman 2LT the XT variant is still a relatively low cost solution. Designed to provide a warning when field strengths are approaching ICNIRP reference or CEMFAW Action Levels the Radman 2XT is a flexible, easy to use, rugged personal warning device.

Overview
Narda Safety Test Solutions are the world leader in EMF safety equipment. Years of expertise underwrite the specifications of their products and the Radman 2XT is no exception. Designed and manufactured in Germany it provides the quality and reliability that you need in a safety device.
Quality is important; the required alarm level changes with frequency. Get this wrong and units will be too sensitive, providing false alarms, which cost time and money, or worse will be insensitive to high field strengths.
The Radman 2XT is used by telecoms, satcom, broadcasting, defence, industrial, scientific and medical organisations.
All units are supplied with a belt/climbing harness adaptor plus lanyard for use away from the body. Battery life is exceptional with up to 800 hours of operation on a single charge, charging is via a standard USB-C connector. The maximum recommended calibration interval is a healthy 3 years and our calibration facility in Basingstoke provides the quick turnaround required to make sure units are available when you need them .

Just like the rest of the range of Narda digital field probes the new BFD-400 is designed to meet the demands of different applications – as you’d expect it can be connected to a handheld meter or (coming soon) via Narda TSX software, it will be possible to directly connect just the probe to a PC, really useful in lab/test environments.

Sometimes it’s really useful to connect a field probe via fibre optic cable. It might be lab use where you want to make field strength measurements in an anechoic chamber, it might be on a test range where you need a lot of distance between the field probe and you, it might be you need something with great immunity so you can make high field strength measurements.
