We're pleased to have been invited by IOSH to present another EMF safey webinar. The last was an overview of the EMF Directive & the CEMFAW Regulations.

This time around we're looking at how to approach EMF risk assessments with an emphasis on situations where measurements are required.

It's important to note that you don't always have to jump straight in and perform measurements. Remember it's an assessment and you might be able to get information that guides you, the table of workplaces and applications in the Practical Guide is the best place to start and if that doesn't help you can move on to get information from equipment manufacturers, trade bodies etc. or base the assessment on calculated values.

That said it's quite common place to perform measurements; it's often difficult to get the information you need or you might be an equipment manufacturer performing measurements for your customers.
